Our client is looking for a Quality Manager with direct responsibility for the management of quality across the entire construction company.Responsibilities: * Set up and implement systems and procedures in relation to Construction Quality * Develop, implement and periodically review the Quality Plan * Liaise with the senior management team, site and office personnel to ensure compliance with the Quality Plan. * Full responsibility for the management of the company Quality Management System * Carry out regular audits of sites, workshop, assembly shops etc. and issue audit reports to the senior management team * Carry out regular audits of company supply chain and sub-contractors to ensure high standards of quality are maintained and Implemented * Regularly inspect the works for compliance with specification, quality of workmanship and adherence to the Quality Plan * Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis * Ensure the preparation of the Site QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions * Develop a site Quality Induction including a strong emphasis on client standard acceptance * Verify quality requirements are specified to vendors and sub-contractor documentation submittals * Attend client quality management PIT meetings * Review quality inspection team qualifications and training requirements * Monitor the disposition of all issued non-conformance reports * Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system including recommendation and implementation of improvements when requiredRequirements: * Minimum 4 years’ experience in construction/engineering * Third level qualification or equivalent * Experience and proven track record working in a quality role with a large contractor * Knowledge of a wide range of construction materials, methods and techniques * Excellent knowledge of relevant ISO standards and practical application * Experience in delivering Quality training * Proven ability to influence and promote a positive Quality culture * Ability to express ideas clearly in verbal and written formats * Relevant IT skills covering Microsoft packages, web based document management systems, email, etc * Excellent time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills * Ability to influence and motivate others * Fully flexible to travel internationally if required * Possess ability to work well as part of a team and independently * Must have fluent English and be eligible to work in EuropeFor further information please contact Thomas in Arcon Recruitment
