Set Up Operator-4 Cycle Shift (3526)

This is an exciting new role and we are looking for best in class operators to join our new manufacturing site. Seeking individuals who have an inherent passion for innovation and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on industry leading equipment while making a valuable contribution to the mission of improving people’s lives globally. The site is focused on continuous improvement of all work processes and practices and all operators are required to be flexible in this regard. The successful candidate may be asked to carry out additional work functions that are not described in this specification but are associated with their role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Tool Change and Set up Audits including Audits when required on extraction tray moulding machine.

+ Complete end of lot line clearance or in the instance of a campaign, enable next lot with same tools.

+ Retrieve tools / Kits as per schedule according to IP spec matrix.

+ Install tools in mould base (SMED, front loading using hydraulic pack and start moulding lot.

+ Complete Set-up audits and Dimensional Audits on AMMS and upload data to CAMS.

+ Re-audit and Tool changes where required from failed audits.

+ Record the Moulding Machine Parameters and enter onto cams.

+ Manage tooling inventory to ensure enough supply to meet production demand.

+ Tool cleaning, monitor tool performance, tool Inspection and disposition of tools.

+ Receive resin deliveries and stage to machines.

+ PM Cleaning of mould base while in situ in machine.

+ Scan mould base into Cams after every three-month PMAC.

+ Lot management i.e. cut short lots, and end lots.

+ Training of individuals and the maintenance of training records.

+ Flexible to support operating moulding when required.

**Key Requirements:**

+ Perform all operations with due care and attention and work within compliance with appropriate procedures, documentation, governmental regulations, safety programs, lean manufacturing principles and current good manufacturing practices.

+ Play a key role in the development of the manufacturing systems and will be responsible for continuous improvement initiatives. Proactively identifying operational improvement opportunities or process related issues including escalation and follow up for effective resolution and implementation.

+ Champions for safe working practices and safety initiatives within their functional area.

+ Contribute and assist with Corporate and FDA Auditors and other regulatory bodies during company audits.

+ Take an active role in area and site communications, making continuous improvement suggestions as appropriate.

+ Take an active role in structured problem solving within the area and cross functionally.

+ Excellent time and attendance essential.

+ Excellent numeric skills

+ Exemplary quality record, which reflects a high level of attention to detail

+ Full understanding of Moulding process and/or other Product set up roles is desirable.
