Global Services Operations (GSO), within Microsoft Business Operations, is focused on building industry-leading capabilities to make it easier for customers to do business with Microsoft and deploy our latest technologies.



We're looking for an Implementation Manager to join our Global Process Management team, to implement and improve operational solutions to achieve business goals. The team drives optimal process design from concept to deployment & implementation, right through to monitoring process performance in the “live” environment, identifying waste and continuous improvement opportunities.

**Position Description:**



The Implementation Manager role is accountable for successfully delivering the implementation of new launches impacting the Consulting and Support business on behalf of the Regional Operations Center (ROCs.) Implementation Managers ensure adherence to the Operations Delivery Lifecycle (ODLC) across all required artefacts and outputs.



**Responsibilities**



**Responsibilities:**



+ Use strong Project Management skills and utilization of ODLC to deliver successful implementation of launches into the ROCs, meeting defined schedule, scope & deliverables, adhering to launch policy.

+ Design to-be processes required to meet business needs through standard process methodology. Facilitate coordination and collaboration of subject matter experts across function in design and ensure all processes are compliant by design.

+ Bring in voice of business to identify requirements, dependencies, risk, issues & mitigation plans.

+ Provide critical inputs for all launch outputs and artifacts to support Launch Services in alignment with ODLC process, including budgetary requirements & value realization

+ Track and report launch progress (Process health, KPI, adoption tracking, etc.) thru deployment and transact including transition acceptance.

+ Plan and execute effective change management program to enable successful transition to run for the Regional Operations Center

+ Influence future design by feeding post-mortem learnings back to Launch Execution thru Process Managers & Prioritization Managers.

**Basic Qualifications:**



+ BA/BS degree

+ 5+ years of demonstrated Project, Program or Process Management experience preferably in an Operations environment.



+ Strong written/oral communication skills required, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts

+ Detail oriented and thorough, with ability to think “big picture”

+ Demonstrated analytical ability, particularly related to complex problems and concepts

+ Cost conscious

**Preferred Qualifications:**



+ Masters or MBA

+ Project management experience and demonstrated ability to implement change, PMP certification desired



+ Change Management: strong capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity and providing creative solutions.



+ Excellent communication skills with ability to build solid relationships with individuals at all levels.

+ Demonstrated excellence in thought leadership, innovation and execution management; ability to influence without authority.



+ Ability to identify and implement industry best practices to improve existing processes; demonstrable achievement within a results-driven, highly ambiguous and dynamic environment.



+ Broad working knowledge of Microsoft including business groups, segment and support functions including multiple channels and business groups.
