I am currently working with one of my key clients in Cork, on an exciting contract opportunity. The company are a global medical device company, who specialise in the manufacture of orthopaedic replacements. They are currently seeking an MDR Specialist to join their team on an initial 12 month hourly rate contract. Role: MDR Specialist Location: Cork Contract: An initial 12 month hourly rate contract Your role as an MDR Compliance Specialist will be to be responsible for assessing compliance in accordance with regulations and standards such as ISO 13485 and EUMDR. Responsibilities:Lead and participate on projects and initiatives, such as product design and development activities and operations/production initiatives, providing regulatory compliance guidance with regard to regulated products. Promote a culture of compliance to regulations, standards, and procedures and risk management throughout the organization.Assist in the preparation and presentation of regulatory compliance training materials for regulatory and quality teams. Supports/Leads Internal Audit Program and External Inspection Readiness.Provide regulatory assessments of audit findings and prepare appropriate reports to auditors and management. Requirements:Degree in Engineering / Science disciplines. 5+ years experience as an engineer within the medical device industry. Proven ability to work cross functionally. Excellent Communication Skills.
