Our client, a major provider of engineering services & solutions to the global aviation sector are now, due to significant increases in business levels, looking to expand their in-house legal team & have engaged exclusively with us in Cpl to hire a Corporate Solicitor .

The Job :

Reporting directly to the Site Operations Director, this is a newly created role & the successful candidate will act as a key support to the leadership team covering a broad remit focusing on both Irish & international operations.

More specifically you will cover duties such as, but not limited to, reviewing, drafting & negotiating of commercial & business contracts, providing accurate & timely legal advice to the organisation on key business topics, ensuring compliance with relevant EU & local legislation as well as implementing same, managing & mitigating legal risk, engaging with external legal advisors when the need arises & leading projects across the wider group.

Your Skills/Experience that we need :

• 3rd level degree & fully qualified solicitor.
• 2-3+ years post qualification experience in a relevant legal counsel or solicitor role ideally.
• Experienced gained in a corporate/in-house role would be an advantage but candidates from a practice or consultancy background will also be considered.
• Excellent inter-personal & negotiating skills as well as a strong ability to multi-task.
• Proven ability to manage projects & work with minimal supervision.

The Offer :

The salary on offer will depending on candidate skills & experience but is expected to range 70-80k approx. In addition there is a strong benefits package including pension contributions, private health care, further education assistances, & excellent further career progression opportunities.

This role will be a hybrid mix of 3-4 days office based in Shannon & the balance remote/working from home so could suit candidates willing to commute from outside the immediate Shannon region.
