- Consider out the responsibilities of a staff nurse in the theatre department and execute the necessary methods and processes.
- Maintain a high level of employee morale while making a valuable leadership contribution to the Theatre Department.
- Develop a high quality of patient care and treatment by working together with medical professionals and other caregivers.
- Be responsible for his or her clinical practice, upholding the NMBI Code of Conduct and enhancing professional competence, expertise, and range of practice.
- Stay current on required training, such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Oversee and support the ordering, management, and replacement of supplies as well as the evaluation of the need for new and repaired equipment.
- Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI
- Minimum 1 year experience in assisting in Cardiothoracic surgery.
- Exceptional ability to establish teams and relationships.
- Both clinical and excellent communication abilities are required.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy is required.
- Adaptability and outstanding initiative.
