    We are hiring Staff Nurse –Theatre(Scrub/Anaesthetic/PACU/Orthopaedic) in a Private Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

    Responsibilities
    • To work as a member of a team of nurses in the Hospital theatre department providing high-quality, patientcare care for patients and their families.
    • To develop and maintain good relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and to work closely with nursing colleagues to develop innovative practices within the unit delivering evidence-based care.
    • The theatre nurse will be expected to assist in a wide range of specialties (e.g. orthopedic, Scrub, PACU, Anaesthetic).
    • To develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relating to his or her clinical area.
    • Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure good team spirit and collaborative working practices.
    • Support the theatre manager by meeting agreed responsibilities as set out by the theatre manager or the chief nursing officer at any time.
    • Identify and discuss nursing and patient needs with consultants and the nursing team, multidisciplinary team, patients, and carers.


    Requirements

    • Register with the NMBI's general section of the register of nurses.
    • Possess a minimum of one year of experience in an acute hospital setting following registration.
    • Prior theatre experience is necessary
    • Possess demonstrated clinical and professional aptitude.
    • Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Possess strong IT abilities and be able to use Microsoft products like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, among others.
    • Proficiency in the English language is mandatory for the position.
