    IT Support Engineer - Hybrid

    We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will provide remote and onsite technical support to clients as part of a mix of IT Project Implementation and Systems Administration on the Microsoft365 stack.

    This is a hybrid role based in the Sandyford office, and having your own transport is highly advantageous for field work.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in Network infrastructure, Server Administration, and Office 365, as well as a solid understanding of on-premise technology and hardware installation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide remote technical support to clients via phone, email, or online platforms
    • Drive to customer sites to deliver in-person IT Support, encompassing networking, IT Security, systems administration, and hardware installation
    • Configure and deploy PC's and Laptops
    • Conduct regular 'health checks' on existing IT systems to ensure optimal performance
    • Administer Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and Azure
    • Implement and monitor Network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity
    • Manage IT security protocols, including Firewalls and Anti-Virus software
    • Oversee Backup systems and Disaster Recovery strategies to mitigate potential risks
    • Manage Mobile Device Management and Multi-Factor Authentication using Intune

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in a similar role – Field Engineer, Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator
    • Experience with some or all of Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams), Azure, Backups, DR, AVD, Intune, Sophos firewalls and AV, Datto (Backup, DR), Unifi (access points, switches), HP hardware supplied
    • Own transport and a valid Driver's License are advantageous
    • Proficiency in M365, Azure, Active Directory, and Network Support
    • Professional certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA are a real advantage
