    About the Job

    This position offers growth opportunities and the chance to take ownership of key responsibilities. You will work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely (WFH).

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting standards, financial regulations, and practices. Experience in wealth management or financial services is preferred.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
    2. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to management.
    3. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including those related to financial and tax reporting.
    4. Process Improvement: Streamline accounting processes and improve financial controls.
    5. Portfolio Management: Manage and reconcile investment portfolios and transactions to ensure accurate reporting and performance tracking.
    6. Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations for financial practices.
    7. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, providing support to various departments in financial planning.
    8. System Maintenance: Implement and maintain robust financial systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
    9. Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission, including estimated quarterly tax payments.
    10. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage bank accounts and transactions, and optimize financial operations for efficiency and cost control.

    Requirements

    1. Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification is required.
    2. Experience: 2-3 years PQE accounting experience, preferably in a wealth management or financial services environment.
    3. Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP and other financial regulations and practices. Proficient in financial software systems (SAGE products) and advanced Excel skills.
    4. Priorities: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently.
    5. Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
    6. Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines.

    Competitive Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 per year
