    Financial Accountant Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in Dublin. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to thrive in a dynamic environment with a hybrid working model that balances remote and in-office work.

    This position provides ownership over key areas of our Finance Function and the chance to collaborate with a strong Group Finance team where your input will be valued. As part of IPL's Group Finance team, you will have opportunities for growth and development within a large organization with a $1 billion turnover and global operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process monthly general ledger data and prepare accounts for corporate entities according to IFRS and corporate accounting policies.
    • Prepare balance sheet analysis and reconciliations, including bank, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
    • Generate individual financial statements for Group entities to meet filing deadlines.
    • Liaise with auditors to address audit information requests.
    • Prepare intercompany management recharges.
    • Assist with transitioning to new financial accounting systems.
    • Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
    • Complete bi-weekly cash flow forecasting for corporate entities.
    • Provide ad hoc financial information as needed.

    Your Skills and Experience:

    • Recognized accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA).
    • 2-3 years' experience in accounting.
    • Strong Excel skills; ERP system experience is advantageous.
    • Technical accounting expertise.
    • Able to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
