    Job Summary:

    The Site Director is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and execution of all product development and operational performance for the R&D and Manufacturing facility. This position will execute the site strategy, have responsibility for the P&L, ensure operational goals are met, promote engagement, and work closely with cross functional leaders (i.e Sales, Marketing, R&D) and Growth Teamsin order to identify and win new business opportunities.

    Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Integer's Value and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Leads and develops a multi-function leadership team, collaborating closely with functional managers and enterprise leaders where appropriate with the goal of driving the attainment of site safety, quality, on time delivery, revenue, cost improvement and associate engagement targets and initiatives.
  • Responsible for driving world class operational, development and quality performance that exceeds the expectations of our customers.
  • Creates a performance driven, accountable culture that tracks performance versus clear metrics.
  • Champions and drives change by challenging the status quo and elevating the performance of his/her team.
  • Drives consistency, alignment, and operational efficiencies within Product Category in alignment with Integer operating expectations including standardization, metrics, systems, prioritization, communication, and accountability.
  • Prioritizes effective, strategic management of talent within the site and broader Integer, including the building of bench strength that ensures our ability to achieve current objectives and prepares us adequately for the future.
  • Develop annual financial plans with FP&A to support continuous growth and cost management, including preparing justifications and plans for investments in training, staffing, and capital equipment.
  • Provide Monthly Operational and R&D Project performance summaries inclusive of a 12-month rolling financial forecast to achieve GM/AOI performance to changing revenues and product mix.
  • Participate in business development activities that develop/enhance customer relationships and close sales, including business case, risk and technical assessments, and customer communication in partnership with the commercial team.
  • Directs new product development programs by establishing strategy, providing leadership and creating the organization necessary for successful implementation. Works closely with other departments to ensure proper prioritization and implementation.
  • Manages a team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians as they design, develop, ramp and in some cases transfer manufacturing to larger locations.
  • Flawlessly develop and introduce new products, processes, and systems to production, both on time and on budget.
  • Ensures the proper prioritization and timely completion of all product development projects on budget and per delivery milestones.
  • Partners with Sales and Marketing, R&D and Growth teams to identify and win new business opportunities that expands upon the capabilities of the site.
  • Actively participates in the development and analysis of new business and market opportunities.

  • Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: 7 years progressive leadership experience in a healthcare or other regulated manufacturing environment that afforded exposure to all areas of plant operations. P&L experience in a technical environment as well as applied LEAN manufacturing experience
  • Medical Device: Strong technical and commercial knowledge of the medical device space. Solid understanding of products, clinical applications, and detailed knowledge of design and manufacturing technologies.
  • Knowledge & Skills:

  • Demonstrable people management and team building skills; successful track record of recruiting, developing and retaining high performing and engaged workforce
  • Able to analyze, understand and effectively communicate deep technical material
  • Strategic thinker; able to develop short and long-range plan for the facility while managing execution
  • New process development and new product launch system experience
  • Working knowledge of capacity planning and supply chain
  • Kaizen, Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated Project Management Skills
  • Ability to effectively build organization and talent capacity and capability.
