    Job Summary

    To support our extraordinary GSS team (Global Service Solution) we are searching for a Account Management Director, who will be responsible for the customer relationship, account strategy, KPI delivery and all new business opportunities within their assigned GSS account(s). They will be accountable for the overall customer P&L and the operational performance of the account across multiple GSS sites, meeting customer expectations and driving customer satisfaction.

    What a typical day looks like

    • Drives new business on the account through organic growth at current sites, expansion of existing services into new sites / regions and through the addition of new GSS services.
    • Works in conjunction with the wider GSS team, pulling Business Development, Solutions and Pricing resources into customer engagements as needed in the drive to expand business.
    • Monitors and signs-off on all proposals, quotations and negotiations with the customer on the GSS side of the business.
    • Negotiates all contract renewals and amendments, guarding the key tenets of the contract on behalf of the client when driving performance in Flex, and on behalf of Flex when closing commercials with the customer.
    • Monitors and manages profitability, sustainability and opportunities for improvement. Works closely with GSS Solutions and Finance in the correction of discrepancies within "Quote vs Actuals" analysis
    • Long term forecast and strategic planning for the account(s), as well as short term forecast and actuals alignment and communication with G-Ops for the account(s)
    • Develops strategic relationships with key decision makers within the customer's organization, and facilitates introduction of relevant Flex leadership to those decision makers as appropriate. Monitors and reports the quality, frequency and efficacy of F2F relationships with the customers, seeking to always improve this key metric and to drive workshop / white-board sessions with decision-making levels at the customer
    • Key escalation point globally for customer issues, scope changes, quality and communications management

    The experience we are looking to add to our team:

    • Typically requires a certain track record of years of progressively advancing account management experience in a service supply chain / aftermarket role
    • Demonstrates strong knowledge of global supply chain business models as it relates to forward, reverse logistics and Circular Economy solutions.
    • Prior experience in clean energy, robotics, capital equipment, industrial devices and power solutions is required
    • Understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators, taking actions to meet customers' needs and company targets
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to successfully influence senior level management, executives and key clients
    • Ability to travel 25%
