    Project Development Manager

    We are seeking a seasoned and driven professional to lead the development of large-scale solar farm and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth project execution, overseeing site staff, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and environmental standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Planning and Development:
      • Identify and assess potential sites for solar farms and BESS projects. Contribute to the mergers and acquisitions process.
      • Coordinate feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and resource evaluations.
      • Secure land leases, permits, and approvals from local, state, and federal authorities.
    • Financial and Commercial Management:
      • Develop financial models to assess project profitability and risks.
      • Manage budgets, forecasts, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project development.
      • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
    • Stakeholder and Team Collaboration:
      • Cultivate relationships with internal teams (engineering, legal, procurement, etc.) to align with project goals and timelines.
      • Establish and maintain relationships with local communities, utilities, and regulatory bodies.
      • Present project updates and reports to senior management and investors.
    • Regulatory and Environmental Compliance:
      • Ensure all projects adhere to relevant environmental, zoning, and regulatory requirements.
      • Work with legal and regulatory teams to secure necessary permits and address compliance issues.
      • Oversee site activities, including installation, commissioning, and testing of solar systems, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Risk Management and Mitigation:
      • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including technical, legal, and financial challenges.
      • Monitor market trends, policy changes, and technological advancements in renewable energy to adjust project strategies accordingly.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (Master's preferred).
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in renewable energy project development, specifically in solar farm and BESS projects.
    • Proven experience in land acquisition, permitting, and regulatory processes.
    • Strong understanding of solar technology, installation techniques, and electrical systems.
    • Knowledge of grid interconnection processes, energy market regulations, and PPA structures.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Full Clean Driving License.

    Salary: €60,000 per year
