Your main tasks

As Head of IT, you will play a key role inthe strategic development, organization and management of our ITdepartment. Your responsibilities will range from establishing ourIT as a professional, internal service provider to the continuousdevelopment of our IT security management. A central focus will beon identifying new technologies, trends and best practices.

• You will manage our IT department, improveworkflows and ensure a continuous flow of information and employeedevelopment
• You see yourself as an internalservice provider, ensure IT operations and IT services and monitorthe success of your department on the basis of defined key figures
• You take on the quality assurance of ITprojects in cooperation with the Digital Office and ensurecompliance with legal and OOWV-internal framework conditions
• You further develop the IT strategy andpromote the culture of innovation in your department. You willmonitor the market and identify opportunities to integrate newtechnologies in order to optimize our business processes
• You ensure data security, data protectionand legal compliance and identify and assess IT risks
• You represent the OOWV on committees and boards,communicate with authorities and other institutions and givespecialist presentations

Your profile

• You havea degree, preferably in (business) informatics or a comparablefield, or have completed training in the IT sector
• You have several years of professional experience in ITprocess organization and/or IT process design
• You have an appreciative and cooperative approach andalready have experience in a managerial role
• You have already successfully implemented IT strategies and haveknowledge of IT project management
• You arefamiliar with current IT technologies and trends, have knowledge ofIT security management and experience in implementing securitymeasures
• You are a strong communicator, havea high level of self-management skills and are able to conveytechnical concepts in a target group-oriented and understandableway
• A high level of organization,flexibility and strong decision-making skills round off yourprofile
