    Senior Software Development Engineer (Cloud)

    About the role:

    CPL is delighted to be partnered with a Global Software Product Research and Development Centre who are based in Cork City. Our client is seeking an Senior Software Engineer to join their team in a hybrid work environment, helping deliver complex cloud-based systems in an agile environment . The candidate will be part of a new team and joining at a key early stage, giving you the opportunity to shape the future of the systems and cloud platform services.

    Key Role Responsibilities:

    Responsible for design, implementation, maintainability for robust, scalable, high-quality software for a product domain.

    Take responsibility for complex project tasks and contributes to technical decisions to ensure successful delivery.

    Work with fellow seniors to define a design that meets best practice in software.

    Contribute to the software architecture for the overall product.

    Technical mentor for support, coaching and guidance on technical tasks.

    Continuous education and development of technical skill set, and proven demonstration applied to a domain.

    Experience Required:

    5+ years development experience as a Software Development Engineer.

    Proven track record in high quality software design and implementation.

    Experience in React, Redux, Spring Boot, JavaScript.

    Experience of AWS, Kubernetes, SaaS App Development.
