Our Culture: The Regeneron Way

Our employees are at the center of the discoveries and solutions that are delivered to patients. The Regeneron Way represents our company’s values and behaviors, defines who we are, what we stand for and how we work together. These principles put into words our culture that has fueled our innovation from the start.

Lead With Science. Science drives our business and passion drives our science. Whether you're doing science, supporting science or delivering science. It's what we do.

Take On Big Ideas. We take the long view and tackle the bid ideas, the unsolvable problems, and the bottlenecks that get in the way. We pursue ieas with passion and courage, to make a real difference.

Make It Happen. It may not always be easy, but we figure it out and get it done. We have little appetite for unnecessary bureaucracy that can get in the way of innovation or quality.

Be Great Together. While others talk about teamwork, we actually do it. When you work smart, fun people, you bring out the best in each other and can do the extraordinary.

Do What's Right. We do well by doing good. We act with integrity and pride ourselves on doing the right thing - by each other, our communities, our patients and the world around us.

Diversity, Equality & Inclusion

Our colleagues represent a broad range of backgrounds – just like the people who take our medicines. We know we can achieve our mission by fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone’s ideas matter. We continue to embed business practices that promote diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and leverage the advantages of our broad-based workforce.

Better Workplace - We will be a place where you can be yourself and succeed. We believe bringing together people who see the world differently leads to the best ideas. We will hire, listen to, develop and advance people with diverse experiences to become a better company

Better Science - We will advance medicine or all. We believe diversity drives scientific advances and better healthcare. We will reduce bias in research and development; pursue inclusive science and technology that supports under-represented populations; and increase access to care.

Better World - We will use our voice and influence for good. We are a strong community partner. We will improve the lives of under-represented groups, invest where we can make a unique difference, engage and inspire the next generation.

Regeneron Genetics Center

The Regeneron Genetics Center (RGC) has built one of the world’s most comprehensive genetics databases, pairing the sequenced exomes and de-identified electronic health records of more than 300,000 people so far. Building upon our strengths in mouse genetics and genetics-driven drug discovery, this information will allow us to elucidate, on a large scale, genetic factors that cause or influence a range of human diseases. We believe that this knowledge can advance basic science around the world, provide clinically valuable insights to physicians and patients and ultimately make drug development faster and more precise.

Our team conducts gene sequencing projects, functional biology, disease modeling and the translation of genetics findings into Regeneron’s preclinical and clinical pipelines. We are using our unique database and state-of-the-art analysis capabilities to identify new drug targets and therapeutic indications, to validate our existing programs and to build better-informed clinical trials. Our explorations include Mendelian and family frameworks, large-scale population genetics (both common and rare variants) and gene-gene interactions.
