Passionate positive professional who wants to progress and develop others to learn and grow about the Security Industry 

Over 20 years of experience within the Security Industry both as volunteering with Civil Defence and working at events as a medical point of contact, I have been involved with training and development and creating, executing training programs.Working and volunteering in different areas have given me transferable skills I have developed to motivate others, having a combination of several different skills working together, these have made me an effective leader and given me the ability to build a strong team by supporting them in a positive environment, motivating my colleagues to apply positive behaviours in their own work, by giving clear effective feedback in a positive manner. I am mindful of other’s values and perspectives and respectful of their opinions.

Pre Covid, I worked as an Early Childhood educator preschool teacher, when the lock down happened this made me reflect on my position and gave me the opportunity to develop in other areas that I always was passionate about, I always enjoyed helping people both adults and children to develop and give them the tools to learn a new skill, I have learned that not everyone learns the same way and I have been able to facilitate people by using different teaching resources and to break it down so they can get a better understanding on how things are learnt.Pedagogy is the teaching of children, or dependent personalities. Andragogy is the facilitation learning for adults, who are self-directed learners.
