As a Community Development Worker at North Tipperary Development Company, I specialise in fostering social inclusion and community-building initiatives. Our team collaborates with diverse groups to develop programs that enhance personal growth, inclusivity, and collective empowerment. My background includes advising on best practices, securing funding opportunities, and supporting communities in achieving sustainable outcomes. Previously, I contributed nearly two decades to The Fethard Area Residents Network, and our local residents association, focusing on community projects and social enhancement. These roles involved organising events, managing networks, and projects, while devising strategies to strengthen community capabilities. I am proudly recognised for my commitment to social equity, I strive to create impactful programs and supports that address local needs and inspire change across the multiple target groups of SICAP.
